Matthews Gives Back - To School!

We love our partnerships with the Town of Matthews and the Matthews HELP Center. This late summer event is a joint (fun) effort to prepare local students for their return to school.

Serving is Fun !

This initiative began as a passion of the School Resource Officers of the Matthews Police Dept. What began first as an effort to collect & distribute Christmas gifts to kids in need grew into a year-round effort, including this fun event.

Food & Friendship !

  • Dinner provided, cooked & served by members of our Kiwanis club.
  • Backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies prepared by the Matthews HELP Center
  • Show & tell fun with cars, trucks & equipment provided by the Matthews Police, Fire & Public Work.
  • And lots of games & fun, including the much-anticipated dance contest!
