C.O.S. Kids Child Development Campus
The stated mission of C.O.S. Kids is "...to strengthen our community by nurturing local families with educational, financial and spiritual support." Here are just a few ways we partner with C.O.S. Kids:
- Serving dinner at annual Family Fun Event
- Providing new school clothes & Thanksgiving meals to some of their families
- Supporting our Key Club members who volunteer during after-school programs
- Performing campus enhancements during our annual KiwanisOne Day events.
Matthews HELP Center
The mission of the Matthews HELP Center is " ...to provide short term crisis assistance to our neighbors in the greater Matthews community." Here are just a few ways we partner with them:
- Partnering to provide back-to-school backpacks & school supplies to local students each summer
- Supporting our Key Club members who volunteer at their donation center
- Partnering with to to collect Christmas gifts for local kids & seniors during the holiday.
Town of Matthews- Police and Parks & Recreation Departments
We have valued our partnership with the Town of Matthews since our club's inception. Here are just a few ways we partner with the town:
- Providing & serving dinner at the annual Matthews Gives Back summer festival
- Partnering with our Key Clubs to provide park clean-ups and weed eradication
- Hosting our annual Labor Day 5-K & Family Fun Run event during their festival
Our Local Schools
We love our partnership with all of our local schools. From hosting our Terrific Kids programs and Key Clubs, to connecting us with families in need of new school clothes, they serve as a vital link in outreach to our community. Here are our school partners:
