Sharing the Thanksgiving Meal

Many families in our community can't enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving meal, so our club members are committed to sharing this wonderful experience with our neighbors. Individual club members contribute to a fund and we seek support from sponsors to provide grocery store gifts cards to dozens of families in our area. It is a true means of sharing our thankfulness to be able to help others!

    Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale!
    Sale begins mid-November

    MARK YOUR CALENDARS!    SPREAD THE WORD!!
    Ready to enjoy the most beautiful N.C. mountains Fraser Fir tree or wreath for the holidays?  And support our local service efforts & projects? Then this is your place. Each year we pre-sell trees & wreaths, then have them available for you to select (or have delivered) - the very same week they're cut. You'll never purchase a tree anywhere else - we promise you!
    What:
  • Fraser Fir trees, ranging from 3' to 10' tall

    Tiny Tim Christmas Tree
    Date: Early December

    There are hundreds of children, teens & adults in our community who may not have the same holiday experience as others - without someone else's caring heart. Each year our club, in partnership with the Matthews HELP Center, places a tree, adorned with wish-list ornaments, in the gazebo at the Matthews Town Hall. You & your family can stop by, select an ornament (or three), shop for the gifts, then deliver them to the Matthews HELP Center. That simple but meaningful efforts will assure others will truly enjoy the spirit of the holidays.

    • Tree is usually in place by the first weekend in December
    • The ordering deadline will be shown on the ornament
